SAUL KATZ, LL.L, LL.B - PRESIDENT & CEO, DIRECTOR OF THE CORPORATION

Mr. Katz is the founder and visionary behind New Era Nutrition. As a pioneer in functional foods and nutraceuticals, he assembled a dynamic team that brought the company to the forefront of the industry. As an authoritative lecturer and government advisor, Mr. Katz has spoken at numerous international conferences.

Saul is a seasoned business executive who voluteers his time and expertise with various community and industry organizations including, founding Director of BioAlberta, Director of the Food Processors Association, founder and Chairman Intellectual Property and Tecnology Transfer Section- Canadian Bar Association; founding President Canada/Japan Business Association, and Board member of the Economic Development Authority.

Prior to establishing New Era, Mr. Katz was Vice President and General Counsel to the Triple Five Group developer of the world's largest shopping centers; President of Seven Crowns Corporation, a CDNX public company; Legal Counsel to the Alberta Energy Company; and articled with the Department of Justice in Ottawa.
